The other day my lovely SIL had all the little girl cousins over her house for lunch and tiara decorating ? ! All of them! And they were in heaven!!!
So I was just going to go home, and with only one twin to worry about, I was going to blitz the house, and get everything done. But then a thought came…
This was special time with just Wally and I, and it doesn’t come around often!
And I’ve heard that one in one time with children is supposed to be quite beneficial ?…hmmm
So instead I asked him if he would like to go on a date…
He got pretty excited..I then asked where he would like to go, and he replied ….’on a date…’
What a cutie!
He clearly needed some options…a park, shops, the beach….
We finally put our swimmers on, grabbed a ball and headed down to the beach. We had the best time!
We played in the sand, swam, kicked the ball and shared a juice from the cafe. And we talked. We talked about him, what he likes and the people in his life.
But mostly, he just felt very special. He had mummy all to himself! And I had my Wally!
