Anyone who knows me, knows that the reason I wanted a daughter was so I could play with her hair…well, not the only reason, but it was definitely one of the reasons….??
And now I’ve been blessed with a beautiful girl who loves having her hair done AND sits still long enough for me to do it!!! I really hit the jackpot with Tori!!! ??
So here’s a post for mums with daughters….a twist on the traditional piggy tails on my beautiful Tori bug. ?
It’s super cute and not too hard, but it does take a little bit of time and patience…especially from the little girl!
Pretty much, you part the entire head of hair down the centre then divide each side into three sections and secure with hair elastics.
You then twist or plait the two top and two bottom sections.
Once plaited or twisted, crisscross the two top sections and secure in the middle. Repeat with bottom two section, taking them up to the middle piggytails.
And there you have it!
If you are trying this and need more help… Let me know and I’ll try taking step by step photos as I do it…
Otherwise good luck!
