So now that the family are gone, the sheets are washed, fridge cleaned out and decorations away, it’s time for me to look at decorating the house for the rest of the year! Yay! We moved in around October last year and are going for a French Provincial/French Country theme which I will keep you updated on!
We have painted, put in a new kitchen, new carpet and bought a few nice natural oak statement pieces to build around. I love the idea of chandeliers, ornate but very usable furniture, natural hues, lots of textures to add interest and accents of soft blue in the summer and warm dusty pinks and creams in the winter.
I’m so excited to be creating a space that I love and I look forward to sharing it with you. xx
